'Stella' is our most popular sweet Cherry variety as it is self-fertile and will fruit without a companion tree for cross pollination.Sweet Cherries can be eaten straight off the tree in summer but you may have to compete with the birds as it is one their favourite summer fruits as well. The fruit is usually red skinned and red fleshed. Other varieties to look for are 'Summit', 'Reiner' and 'Compact Stella' which is a semi-dwarf form of 'Stella',perfect for the smaller garden.Sour cherries are just that and usually require cooking before eating. They are popular for jams, jellies, fruit pies and for making Kirsch. All sour cherries are self-fertile so you just need 1 tree to get fruit. Most are red skinned with yellow flesh. Sour Cherry. Life really can be a bowl of cherries! Upright small rounded tree that is self fertile and has crops of lovely red cherries that ripen in summer. The cherries have red skin and yellow flesh and are mainly used for culinary purposes. Plant in a sunny well drained position. Deciduous.

Cherry Oblacinska

This 'Sour Cherry' hails from Europe and is a popular fruit for making Kirsch. The flesh and the skin are both red. The tree is self-fertile and not overly large. Happiest in the sun with well drained soil. Deciduous.
